Pillar Mounted Jib Crane Manufacturer

Jib Crane

Make Pillar mounted (Free Standing) Jib Cranes are best suited for work station application. These cranes are directly installed on shop floor without any need for support from building column. Available in capacity ranging from 0.5 MT to 5 MT and outreach of 8 meters, these cranes serve the need of local station without use of shop EOT Crane.
The post is made from pipe of ample strength. The jib swivels on anti friction bearings. The slewing motion is available in both manual as well as motorised variety. The jib construction is available in under braced as well as over braced options.
Wide base plate is provided at the bottom of the jib to distribute loads on foundation evenly. Hoisting unit is available in three varieties – manual chain hoist with push pull or geared trolley, electrical chain hoist with push pull / geared or motorised trolley movement and electric wire rope hoist with motorised CT movement. Pillar Mounted

Pillar Mounted Jib Cranes are necessary when no other appropriate support near a workstation is available. Pillar Mounted Jib Cranes, also commonly referred to as Column mounted Jib Cranes, assists the staff and multiply human efforts, handling loads up to 10 Ton precisely and effortlessly. These Jib Cranes are useful, especially for loading or unloading workpiece on machine tools.

These are also useful for loading and unloading from trucks. These Cranes can also become an integral part of a standalone workstation and machine assemble area. LOADMATE Pillar Mounted Jib Cranes install almost anywhere, including outside. These foundation-mounted, freestanding jibs offer higher capacities, longer spans, and more significant rotation than our wall-mounted jib cranes:

1. Capacity: The maximum weight to be lifted at the Jib arm tip.

2. Height Under Hook (HUH): The distance from the floor to the underside of the hook. Any object or machine of this height can be kept under this Jib Crane.

3. Overall Height: The height to the highest point on the crane after installation. Any attachments, such as electrical entry, should also be considered to provide full rotational potential and freedom from overhead obstructions.

4. Working Span: This is the actual distance the hook is able to travel from one end of the JIB arm to the other end. It is slightly lesser than the arm length.

5. Boom Rotation: Freestanding or mast-type or pillar type jib cranes usually provide 360-degree rotation. In case the required rotation is lesser due to any obstruction, do mention it with the requirement.

6. Electric Motion Requirement: Based on the application, it is very much required to define all 3 motions in manual or electric movement type.

7. Weatherization: Does the system or its electrical components need to be weatherized for outdoor use?

8. Installation: Site conditions for installation to be checked and discussed. The location will also dictate the type of crane to be selected to ensure proper installation. Pillar mounted Jibs require reinforced concrete foundations, which can cost more than the crane itself.

SALIENT FEATURES
  • No building column is used, and hence building does not undergo any extra loading.
  • It is Easiest to install
  • Anchor bolts secure the base plate to a prescribed reinforced concrete foundation
  • The pillar’s connection to the base plate is reinforced with six or more equally spaced gussets
STANDARD FEATURES

Pillar Mounted JIB Cranes comes in 3 different variants based on the support to the Jib arm

1. Bottom Strutted Cantilever Type

  • Our Pillar Mounted Cantilever Series cranes offer the highest amount of clearance, both under and above the boom.
  • In the case of the top height restriction, this design provides the maximum hook path

2. Top Strutted Tie-Rod Supported Type

  • This design is most economical as the structure becomes lighter due to support at the other end of the JIB arm.
  • It has no support structure under the boom so that the trolley hoists can travel virtually the full length of the boom

3. No Strutted Support Type

  • This design has only the jib arm and has no additional support, i.e., neither on the bottom side nor on the top side.
  • This design is applicable only for low capacities and low arm length
    • Crane Rotation: Upto 360°
    • Capacities: up to 10 tons
    • Spans: up to 10 Mtr
    • Heights—floor to underside of boom: up to 12 Mtr
